Ardmore Distillery Labels Gordon & MacPhail 1998

An independent bottling of Ardmore from Gordon and MacPhail released as part of their `Distillery Labels` series. Aged in refill Sherry hogsheads for nearly 20 years before bottling, this is a rich, rewarding dram with notes of baked orchard fruit, toffee and dry oak spice. The finish is fruity with a hint of warming cinnamon and nutmeg. A great Sherried malt and another hit from the good people at G&M.
