Arran Icons of Arran Rowan Tree 1997

The limited-edition Rowan Tree bottling is the second release in the Icon series from Arran Distillery. The Rowan tree has a special place in Scottish folklore, and it is believed to ward off evil spirits. The whisky was distilled in 1997 then matured in 10 ex-oloroso sherry casks for 12 years, until bottling in 2010. This is a Rich and creamy whisky, with classic sherry wood notes of dried fruit and spice.
