Built in the 1970s, Auchroisk is a large capacity distillery owned by drinks conglomerate Diageo. This vintage single malt was distilled in 2006 and released independently by Gordon & MacPhail as part of their ?Connoisseurs Choice? range. The liquid was matured in a refill bourbon barrel and bottled in July 2021 at 55% ABV. Its flavour profile ranges from orchard fruits to stone fruits and notes of chocolate.
