This innovative 12-year-old Balvenie was first aged in ex-bourbon barrels, followed by a final maturation process in virgin oak barrels from Kentucky. The result is a rich, complex and malty whisky with layers of vanilla toffee, brown sugar and oak spices. Bottled at 43% ABV, it?s a very approachable and versatile dram.
