This expression matured for 14 years, and enjoyed a finishing period in Oloroso sherry octave casks, which are smaller than your usual cask, allowing for more interaction between the wood and the whisky. The result is, as we’ve come to expect from Darkness, packed to the brim with yummy sherried notes. Delightful!
