Caledonian 1976 45 Year Old Xtra Old Particular

A 1976 Caledonian single grain whisky from independent bottler Douglas Laing that was matured in a single refill hogshead for 45 years, before being bottled in September 2021 as part of its Xtra Old Particular series. Aromas of peppery oak spice, fresh fruit salad and damp wood fill the nose, complemented by notes of crème caramel, honey cornflakes, orange zest and boiled sweets throughout the palate.
