About this whisky
- Malt type: Single Grain
- Region: Scotland
Originally founded in 1806 to distil malt whisky, Cambus closed for good in 1993, so stocks of their whisky are scarce and very sought-after. Matured for a mighty 30 years in hogshead casks, this single grain Scotch was independently bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company. The nose displays hints of creamy caramel and butterscotch, with plenty of sweet vanilla. On the palate, brown sugar, rich oak spice, ginger and a touch of minerality. It finishes on a warm, peppery note.
