Cambus 40 Year Old 2016 Release

A rare official bottling of 40 year old Cambus released as part of Diageo`s `Special Releases` series. Distilled in 1975 and bottled in 2016, this rare old grain whisky is limited to just over 1,800 bottles. A fragrant nose of toffee, light caramel, ripe pear and a touch of creamy vanilla lead into a richer palate with hints of fresh pastry, baking spices and a subtle herbal note. The finish brings the fruit to the fore with explosive floral notes. A delicious and delicate 40 year old that goes to show what grain whisky is capable of.
