Caol Ila 2008 13 Year Old The Cooper’s Choice

A 2008 Caol Ila single malt from The Vintage Malt Whisky Co. that was matured in a single ex-bourbon cask for 13 years, before being bottled in 2022 as part of its Cooper’s Choice series. Aromas of salty sea breezes, warm tar, burnt heather and lemon zest fill the nose, complemented by notes of green apples, malted barley, vanilla, black pepper, peat smoke and tangy orange throughout the palate.
