Caol Ila Distiller’s Edition 2021 Release

This is a limited-edition single malt Caol Ila that was distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2021. The liquid was initially matured in a combination of American and European oak casks, and subsequently transferred to ex-Moscatel wine casks for an additional maturation period. Rich, multi-layered but also crisp, this is a pretty unique dram.
