About this whisky
- Malt type: Single Malt
- Region: Speyside
Distilled in 1960 and bottled in 2002 by Gordon and MacPhail as part of their Rare Old range. The nose carries aromas of honey, orange peel, ripe apricot, some pineapple, passion fruit, tobacco, some toffee, nuts and spices. A little punchy on the palate, revealing more orange zest, tropical fruits, tobacco, wood, toffee, hints of vanilla and some herbs. A very rare and well-aged single malt, bottled at over 40 years old from this long-lost distillery.
