About this whisky
- Malt type: Single Malt
- Region: Scotland
This is a stunning 39 year old Craigellachie single malt, one of the oldest released by the distillery to date, distilled back in 1980. It spent its decades of maturation slumbering in a single refill bourbon hogshead, specially chosen in 2019 by Craigellachie malt master Stephanie MacLeod. Just 138 bottles were released of the cask strength whisky, weighing in at 53% ABV.
