Glen Elgin 10 Year Old 2008 – Cask Strength (Mossburn)

A 10 year old single malt from Glen Elgin, independently bottled by Mossburn as part of the Cask Strength range. As you might be able to figure out from that name, this whisky was bottled at cask strength – a generous 59% ABV – after maturing for a decade. You don’t see a whole lot of Glen Elgin as a single malt, as it’s particularly well-loved by whisky blenders.
