Glenburgie 13 Year Old 2008 (cask 1920212) – Benchmark (Murray McDavid)

Single malt from Glenburgie, distilled in 2008 and matured for 13 years ? initially in an ex-sherry butt, before a finishing in a first fill ex-Sauternes wine cask. The whisky was independently bottled up by Murray McDavid for its Benchmark collection. Superb stuff from the Speyside-based distillery.
