Glenfiddich 40 Year Old – Rare Collection (Release Number 17)

Glenfiddich’s spectacular single malt Scotch whisky is particularly well-suited to long maturations (and it’s also marvellous at more youthful age statements too ? generally, it’s excellent stuff), which is why the 40 year old expressions from the Rare Collection are highly sought-after and much adored. This is 17th release in the series, featuring whisky matured for four decades, as well as remnants from the previous bottling making its way into the blending process. Immensely satisfying and complex.
