About this whisky
- Malt type: Single Malt
- Region: Speyside
A very rare and hard to find 64-year-old Glenfiddich single malt whisky of a limited edition of only 61 bottles, bottled in 2001. The nose is huge and complex, revealing robust oak, burnt heather, tender poached pears in chocolate toffee, plus raisins, cinnamon and cloves. On the palate, treacle and sweet notes, followed by cedar, oak and dry bitter chocolate. Superbly executed finish, with rich fruit cake and a very warming aftertaste.
