Glenmorangie Sauternes Wood Finish (Bottled 2002) 1981

This vintage Glenmorangie was distilled in 1981 and bottled in 2002 after spending two years finishing in Sauternes casks from the iconic Château d`Yquem. On the nose, enticing aromas of wild berries mingle with apple pie and vanilla custard. The palate is complemented by notes of caramel, vanilla ice cream and orange peel. Bottled at 46% ABV, this is the first Glenmorangie ever to be matured in white wine casks.
