Glenmorangie Signet

An unusual blend of two different types of malted barley – one light and one dark. The spirit is twice distilled and then aged in specially constructed American oak casks. The blend also contains older stocks from Glenmorangie with some thought to be up to 40 years of age. The nose opens with notes of dark chocolate, dried fruit and citrus peel along with notes of honey and golden syrup. The palate is spicy with yet more choclate and a hint of tropical fruit and freshly ground coffee. The finish is dry with an enticing note of antique oak.
