Islay 8 Year Old South Star

This is one of the first 3 releases from South Star Spirits, an 8-year-old single malt from an undisclosed distillery in Islay. The nose has a distinctive nutty character with hints of butter and smoke. There is some vanilla sweetness on the palate, cut through by some sea salt and light peat.
