JP Wiser’s 1998 Ex Libris Smaller Hero 22 Year Old

A 1998 JP Wiser’s Canadian whisky from French bottler La Maison du Whisky, Smaller Hero was matured in seasoned oak for 22 years, before being bottled in 2021 as part of its Ex Libris series. Aromas of wood varnish, old books, heather honey, apricot stones, raspberry, salted caramel and prunes fill the nose, complemented by notes of cinnamon, freshly-grated ginger, coconut, coffee, liquorice, caramel, biscuits, rose petals, candied orange, pineapple and marzipan throughout the palate.
