A UK exclusive vatting of 1,260 bottles matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-oloroso sherry casks, as well as an STR (shaved, toasted and re-charred) cask of the kind made popular by the late Dr. Jim Swan. These STR casks have really made an impact around the world of whisky in recent years, especially at younger distilleries.
