Lagavulin 12 Year Old for Montenegro c. 1980s

Lagavulin Distillery officially dates from 1816, though records show illicit distillation on the site as far back as 1742. This rare and unique bottling from the 1980s is a 12-year-old single malt, originally imported by Montenegro SPA for the Italian market. The 12-year-old was eventually discontinued, replaced by the much-loved 16-year-old expression.
