Lindores Abbey STR Wine Barrique The Casks Of Lindores

A limited-edition single malt from Lowland distillery Lindores Abbey that was bottled as part of its Casks of Lindores series. This whisky was matured exclusively in shaved, toasted and re-charred (STR) red wine barriques from Spain, creating aromas of apricot jam, toffee, cinnamon, butter and custard that fill the nose. The palate offers notes of plums, red berries, treacle, cinnamon, honey, caramel, oak and wisps of wood smoke that linger in the finish.
