The Lindores Abbey Distillery has added to its Casks of Lindores series with this superb single malt which has been exclusively aged in shaved, toasted, re-charred red wine barriques ? otherwise known as “STR” casks, if you fancy sounding fancy. While the first release in the range focussed on bourbon casks and the vanilla-rich notes they impart, this edition shows off a fruit-forward style from Lindores Abbey, with notes of damson, raisin, and plum all playing their part.
