Linkwood 1974 John Mcewen 5 Year Old / Darma Import

There are few official bottlings of Linkwood. A significant part of this distillery’s output is used as a key component of many popular blends, namely Johnny Walker and White Horse. Distilled in 1974, it was bottled for Italy as a 5 year old age-statement, which was the market preference at the time. A preference largely formed by Armando Giovinetti who, with Glen Grant, paved the way for gentle 5 year old malts in Italy.
