Linkwood Private Collection Gordon & MacPhail 1956

Private Collection 1956 from Linkwood Distillery is a truly remarkable and refined single malt. Distilled in January 1956, the whisky was matured for a total of 60 years in first-fill European oak Sherry hogshead. The nose is rich and warm, filled with baked apples, raisins, toffee and fruitcake. On the palate, the single malt is full-bodied, with flavours of fruitcake and dark chocolate orange.
