Loch Lomond 2010 10 Year Old Exclusive to The Whisky Exchange

A 2010 Loch Lomond single malt bottled in September 2020 exclusively for The Whisky Exchange, after a decade in a single first fill bourbon barrel. It’s focused around fruity flavour, with everything from the special wine yeast used to ferment it to the unique straight-necked pot stills creating and concentrating estery fruity notes. Aromas of baked apple, custard, vanilla, flapjacks and pine needles fill the nose, followed by notes of pear drops, peppermint, apple skin, brambles, black pepper and buttery pastry throughout the palate.
