Longmorn 1966 55 Year Old Gordon & MacPhail Private Collection

This exceptionally well-aged Longmorn was drawn from a single first fill sherry butt laid down in 1966. More than five decades in Gordon & MacPhail?s Elgin warehouses have left this venerable Speyside malt with a complex profile of forest fruits, berries, lavender and dark chocolate. Excellent old-fashioned sherry cask influence persists throughout, with intense notes of beeswax, cigar box and exotic spices.
