Longmorn 25 Year Old

A 25 year old Longmorn aged in a combination of three different casks – American oak barrels, hogsheads and butts. Released as part of the Secret Speyside series, which focusses on over-looked distillery making superb single malts. This is a big, bold fruit forward Longmorn with notes of fig, stone fruit, dates and baking spice on the nose. The palate is sweet and rounded with more ripe fruit and a hint of toasted hazelnut. The finish is complex and evolving with a hint of dry spice from the oak barrels.
