A rich and well-balanced Islay single malt, Mac-Talla Strata has been matured for 15 years in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks, creating a smoky, maritime character with hints of rich fruits. Aromas of smoky barley, sea shells and sultanas fill the nose, complemented by notes of earthy peat, warm winter spices, ashy beach bonfires and hints of sherry-soaked fruit throughout the palate.
