Macallan 1961

An exceptionally rare bottle of vintage Macallan, distilled in 1961 and left to mature for over 40 years. The nose is soft and creamy, with enticing aromas of oranges and vanilla panna cotta. On the palate, hints of cedar, cigar box, dark chocolate with candied orange, spices and peppermint. The whisky finishes on a crisp, oaky note. Only 379 bottles were released at the start of the millennium.
