About this whisky
- Region: Speyside
Another addition to the celebrated ?Fine & Rare? series from The Macallan, this 31-year-old expression was distilled in 1938 and originally bottled in 1969, before being re-bottled in 2002. The nose is gentle and inviting, with fruity aromas of apples and oranges, balanced with wood, peat and cinnamon spice. The palate is a rich mix of wood and peat, with some dried fruits and orange, before a fruity finish with wood and soft lingering peat smoke.
