Macallan Fine and Rare 56 Year Old Cask 46/3M 1946

This 56-year-old Macallan was distilled in 1946 and bottled in 2002 as part of its ?Fine & Rare? collection. The nose displays rich lemon citrus and a strong peat smoke, with hints of ginger and apple. On the palate, more notes of lemon, this time combined with mature wood and strong peat, before a lingering smoky finish. This release had a very limited production of just 350 bottles.
