Macallan Red 40 Year Old

An outstanding Macallan single malt whisky, matured in sherry seasoned casks over forty extraordinary years under the watchful eye of generations of whisky makers. On the nose, there are notes of orange and grapefruit, combined with dark chocolate, antique oak, wood spices, figs and poached pears. The palate is brimming with gentle spicy flavours such as nutmeg and cinnamon with vanilla. The finish is long, with delicate wisps of woodsmoke.
