This single malt was distilled at Miltonduff in 1969 and bottled independently by Gordon & MacPhail in 2010, for their Rare Vintage range. The nose is incredibly complex, showing notes of cooked and dried fruits, oranges, jam, raisins, acacia honey, spices, cinnamon, nutmeg, plums, prunes and figs. The palate is equally multi-dimensional, boasting liquorice, menthol, dried fruits, coffee, toffee, milk chocolate, and herbs such as thyme and rosemary.
