New Riff Single Barrel Barrel Proof Bourbon (51.35%)

The 51.35% release of a spicy, sweet single-barrel bourbon from New Riff, made with a mash bill of 65% corn, 30% rye and 5% malted barley and matured for four years in virgin American oak barrels. Aromas of butterscotch, vanilla, oak and rye spice fill the nose. The palate offers notes of brambles, clove, cinnamon, sweet vanilla and green rye that linger in the finish. Kentucky-based New Riff Distilling is putting a new riff on an old tradition. Inspired by the state’s distillers from throughout history, it has a modern take on the traditional Sour Mash Kentucky Regimen.
