Orkney’s Finest 2007 12 Year Old Old Particular

A 2007 Orkney single malt from indie bottler Douglas Laing that was made at a mystery distillery on the island and matured in a single refill hogshead for 12 years, before being bottled in September 2020 as part of its Old Particular series. Aromas of salty sea air, barley, toffee and lemon zest fill the nose, complemented by notes of warm fudge, vanilla pastries, caramel, melted butter, sea salt and nutmeg throughout the palate.
