Port Charlotte SC 01 2012

This heavily peated single malt was distilled in 2012 and aged for 9 years in a combination of casks including sherry butts and Sauternes barriques. The nose is dominated by stone fruits, caramel, a touch of pineapple and brown sugar. The palate shows a pleasant viscosity, with notes of honey, melon, mint leaves, vanilla and leather.
