Rittenhouse 23 Year Old Rye

A rare, long-discontined Rye from Rittenhouse. Distilled in October 1984 and pulled from a batch of just 25 barrels, this released followed around 18 months after Rittenhouse`s superb 21YO. This 23YO is elegant and complex with a sweet maple syrup nose and palate balanced by well-defined spice. The palate introduces a wave of polished oak with more sweet vanilla before a mellow, smooth finish.
