The Kurayoshi Sherry Cask

This is a sherried expression from the Kurayoshi range, created by Japanese whisky producer Matsui Shuzou. These whiskies are blended malts, made with whiskies distilled in Scotland and shipped over to Japan, where they`re blended with Japanese whisky. The nose is nutty and grassy, with hints of walnuts, lemon and lemongrass. The palate boasts flavours of sultanas, caramel and ginger.
