Former Chivas Brothers master blender Colin Scott came out of retirement to blend this special 50-year-old single malt. Scott had his pick of the Last Drop?s remarkable maturing malt and grain inventory of ex-sherry and ex-bourbon casks. The whisky is unexpectantly vibrant for its age, bursting with peaches, Maraschino cherries and green banana lifted further by fragrant magnolia and lemon peel. The finish provides hints of liquorice, spring flowers and oak. Limited to 500 bottles globally.
