An exquisite expression from Tobermory, distilled in 2003 and matured for 17 years. After an initial stay in refill hogsheads, this single malt was treated to a generous four year finishing period in ex-Madeira casks, resulting in gloriously nutty notes of burnt toffee and sweet sultanas, and a majestic hue. A top sipper for after dinner, we’re keen to try this one with a nice cheese board!
