Tomatin 12 Year Old 2008 Cognac Cask Finish – French Collection

The fourth and final release in Tomatin’s French Collection is this cracking Cognac cask finished expression! Like the rest of the range (which includes Sauternes, Rivesaltes, and Monbazillac cask finished whiskies), this is a 12 year old single malt distilled in 2008. However, as we alluded to earlier, this one has enjoyed a finishing period in Cognac casks. This has imparted lip-smacking helpings of red fruit, toasted nut, and festive spice notes.
