Tomintoul 16 Year Old Sauternes Cask

A limited release from Speyside`s Tomintoul, this single malt was distilled in 2004 and finished in Sauternes wine casks. The result is a beautifully vinous 16-year-old single malt, showing off the fantastic adaptability of Tomintoul`s spirit when it comes to cask influence. Expect notes of cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, with dried apricots, peaches, pineapples, and a touch of oak tannin towards the end.
