About this whisky

This is a well-sherried single malt distilled by Tomintoul back in August 2000 and left to mature in a single Pedro Ximénez sherry butt for 19 years. The whisky was bottled nearly 2 decades lates at 55% ABV. The nose reveals a creamy aroma profile, with hints of ripe banana, raisins and dried pineapple. The palate carries sweet, fruity and malty flavours, with some floral undertones.
