The third release of Tomintoul`s highly rated 30 year old whisky, named in honour of their master distiller, Robert Fleming. Aromas of tangy stone fruit and candied peel start things off with a touch of honey and pastry notes. The palate is rich and layered with poached pear and apply strudel notes before a sweet, gently nutty finish with hints of spices that linger on the tongue. A suitably complex, elegant 30 year old from this oft-overlooked Speyside distiller.
