Waterford Biodynamic – Luna 1.1

Ireland’s Waterford Distillery is once again showing us that there is definitely more than one way to make whisky with its Luna 1.1 expression, said to be the world’s first biodynamic whisky! Biodynamic farm has praised by many winemakers, but Waterford is introducing that to the world of whisky with biodynamic barley grown by Irish growers (Trevor Harris, Alan Mooney, and John McDonnell). Fascinating stuff, and rather fantastically full-flavoured, too.
