Willowbank 18 Year Old Batch 2 TBWC

While New Zealand might be more recognized for its wines, the Willowbank once produced superb whiskies, though it closed down back in 1997. This 18-year-old blended whisky was aged in red wine casks and bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company. The nose delivers aromas of blackberry jam, earthy notes, a touch of tobacco and cinnamon. The palate is filled with cherries, chocolate and brown sugar, balanced by woody, smooth tannins.
